Return to the Frontline 1979

2022 Mazu Mood Notes V "Return to the Frontline 1979" is an in-depth depiction of the military-civilian relationship and the special life of Mazu during the battlefield period. It is based on the old photos of Mazu taken by the humanistic photographer Ruan Yizhong. The story takes place before and after the break of diplomatic relations between China and the US. Using "righteous teaching" to bring out the period of the party, government and army, military expansion, discipline, education, health and other aspects of life. The writer and director Xie Shujing combined with the script consultant group headed by Mazu writer Liu Hongwen to inject flesh and soul into the characters, and combine Taiwan and Mazu local art and literature elites to achieve drama together, allowing viewers to experience the life story of Mazu people.
